Question by nutz2203: Automobile Repair List?I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with 121,000 miles on it. I’ve had it for three or four years, and have had very few problems with it. Denver Snow Plowing . During my last trip to the shop for routine maintenance, i was informed that the fuel filter on my car was the original one. They also suggested a transmission flush as they also believed that to be the original fluid. Right before I took the car in, the “service engine soon” light came on. A diagnostic check by an auto parts store (I didn’t want to pay $ 130 to have the dealer’s shop scan the car) scanner revealed that the engine light may be linked to an issue with a sensor in the emission system. I’m on a fairly tight budget. attention deficit disorders . Which of the issues listed above (fuel filter, transmission flush, engine light) should be considered the most urgent. Never flush your transmission. luxury travel agency . This can actually cause you to have a leak. Just have them change the fluid and filter. You’ll know when your fuel filter goes as you will start spitting and sputtering. The emission sensor will do the same. I would suggest the transmission fluid to be changed first though.This will probably cost around $ 100

If the light has been coming on and going off, Exhaust filter can wait. The light is informing you thats its starting to clog up, you can wait till next month for that.
